I know a few belong to each club, so thought I would post it here. Just ordering off the menu--a good chance to get more Liver & Onions! Yum! 73 I just wanted to thank the organizers and SLAS board for a terrific Solstice Party on Saturday night. It was great to spend a couple of hours with some of my astronomical friends. I've known some of you for decades and I consider you part of my extended family. It was good to see Bob Brundage there, Bob was the only person at the party who predates me in the club, by a year or two. Lowell Lyon is another old-timer whom I've known since he was what, 18 or 20 years old! And Siegfried and Patrick aren't far behind those two. Charlie Green, Joan Carman, and Ken Meyer are three more who have been around since the good old days. I've also added many new astro friends in the last ten or fifteen years and I am grateful and fortunate to have them all in my life. Kelly wasn't feeling too well so we didn't stay as long as I would have liked afterwards. But I'll see you again soon at meetings or under the stars. Hopefully 2015 will see me with a bit more free time. Thanks again, SLAS!
