Saw the space station today on a 16:52:44 MDT pass. Az SE (135d (deg)), El 47d using f6 80 mm with 32 mm ocular (approx 15X) and used a polarizer to help with contrast. It went though the field in about 2-3 sec. Could clearly see the "H" shape of the station. More fun with daytime astronomy! Another pass tomorrow at 17:17:42 MDT, Az NNW El 48d. Thanks for the post Steve. Here's what Heaven's Above is saying about it: +++++ Some observers have reported that as the ISS approaches completion, it can now be seen in daylight. It is unlikely to be visible when the Sun is high, but when the Sun is low in the sky, you may well be able to see a high pass of the ISS. +++++ I guess I shouldn't have been surprised to hear it since, as most of us here know, Venus can be seen naked eye in daylight and ISS is now so big it's as bright as Venus. patrick
