Thanks for this report. A good reminder that I need to get out more often. Work is kicking my tail at the moment. /R From: Jay inUT <jayleads@gmail.com> To: Utah Astronomy <utah-astronomy@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Tuesday, June 9, 2015 9:21 AM Subject: [Utah-astronomy] Monday Night South of Vernon Went out to Forest Land south of Vernon last night for about 4 hours of observing (figure I have to get what I can get when I can get it lately), then slept over. Great night. Started with viewing Venus, Jupiter then Saturn again, then as it was dark I moved into my prepared list in Leo and Virgo. Sketched about 8 objects and observed about 21 in total, all galaxies. I ended the night as the moon rose with a view of some of the summer highlights, M57, M27, M4, M22, M13 etc. and of course closed the evening off with Saturn which was an improved view. I may head out again tonight if the clouds hold back otherwise it is looking like Sunday through Thursday next week is the next window. -- Thanks!
