[Utah-astronomy] SPOC skies

SPOC is probably the best site within a 1/2 hr. drive of the center of the S.L. valley. Little Mountain has deteriorated considerably in the last 20 years, and the summit isn't even accessible anymore. Big Mountain is about the same. I've done MM's at SPOC decades ago, the only problem is the high eastern horizon if you plan to take it to the bitter end. But all things considered it's not a bad site at all, and it does get darker after midnight. Restrooms/porta potties are always a good trade for just a bit of light pollution.
