Do not know if anyone looked to the West Wed night (after sunset). The clouds were very dark, but there was a series of horizontal openings and the fading western sky showed through. Did not know what to call it, so I called it cloudset, as no sun rays were visible. Called Dan & he could see it also. Was just an interesting contrast to your pictures, Patrick. BTW, install an interrupter gear and affix a Hero, or such, and take pictures while you a flying! I know, that is a reach. 73 On 2/1/2013 1:27 AM, Patrick Wiggins wrote:
Headed into SLC last evening the sunset colors on Antelope Island and the background made for a very nice site. Really nice the way the distant mountains punched up into the clouds.
Of course I'd forgotten to bring my camera so all I got were a couple of iPhone shots.

p.s. Note to self: Always have the camera handy when airborne... _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy
