[Utah-astronomy] SLAS Jan 21

Tonight in Room 105 of the Warnock Engineering Building Von Del Chamberlain will be speaking by phone bridge (he has already sent the slides) at the SLAS general meeting.  The title of his presentation is "Stellar Icons from Native America."   As many of you may know, Von Del is the former director of the Hansen Planetarium and has made a life long investigation of Native Indian Skylore.  This may be the last opportunity any of you have to hear from this learned man. Please note, you must get a parking permit for $2 for the entire evening (after 4:00), but you need to register your vehicle with Campus Commuter Services first.  (University of Utah)  It's not hard, to do, just a little effort, but better than a parking ticket.
