Absolutely, Dave, I would agree with that. Years ago, when I worked in a darkroom, in winter I would get to work before sunrise, and head home after sundown. Sometimes the only sunlight I was exposed to was if I went out for lunch. And the winter inversions here often meant no sun even then. Sundown closer to 6 than 5, in winter, would be wonderful. If they are going to stop switching, I think it would be best to stay with DST and just not switch back. I think it gives the better balance through the year.
