Provided the clouds cooperate we've a chance to see a tiny minor planet whiz past Earth tonight (Friday) and into tomorrow morning. Transiting high in the south about 8 pm and shining at about mag 12 it'll be scooting across the sky at about 160 arc seconds per minute and located only 0.013 AU away (just under 2 million km). For specifics for your area go to the Minor Planet Ephemeris Service at: http://www.minorplanetcenter.org/iau/MPEph/MPEph.html patrick
