Not to burst any bubbles, (pun intended), but at this stage, it's pretty much a "me too" project unless you take it to the next stage. The next obvious step is to couple a rocket to boost the camera beyond balloon range, once max balloon altitude has been reached. They used to call the combination a "rockoon". (I'm not kidding!). I'm amazed that cameras are being recovered. Clearly you have to wait for a day when the jet stream is not anywhere close. And hope that Delta Airlines doesn't suck one up an engine in an admittedly one-in-a-billion chance. Cool stuff!
