Dave, it was too easy. I ordered the momentary switch from the company I bought the laser from, Beta Electronics. http://www.betapointer.com/ I didn't see an on-line listing for the switch at present, but give them a call. They list their phone number on the website. The price was very reasonable at the time I ordered it some years ago. It replaces the battery cap on the rear end and has a membrane switch on the end of about a two-foot cord. The same system we rigged up on the 32" scope at Stansbury. Bruce even added a glow-in-the-dark dot to it for easy location. You still need to use the little screew clamp or a rubber band to depress the barrel switch, however, or the circuit won't close when you use the momentary switch. Chuck,
How did you rig that momentary switch for your laser finder? I use the little screw attachment that came with the bracket (Orion), but would really like to adapt the setup to your system. Remember, a picture is worth a thousand words and I may become a member of the Flat Earth Society, so make it simple.
