I contacted Sam because I am always game to get out of town. He said they are going to be there in Zion from the 14th to the 17th, and could do the party any night- 14, 15 or 16. That's Mon, Tue or Wed, which works great for me. Has anyone else contacted him? Is anyone else interested in going? I have a condo in St. George that could house a few people. I teach Earth systems (9th grade science) at a charter school in Ogden. I am taking a group of honors students down to Zion for a 4 day field trip. I woud like to incorporate a star party of sorts while down there. Unfortunately I have no telescopes. Do you happen to know of a person or group in the area that might be interested in hosting a star party. Do you know of someone who might loan scopes out for educational trips?
