I believe we have regular readers and participants from outside Utah as well. The more the merrier. I also agree this should not be a regular forum for SLAS news and opinions. Concerns of SLAS should be brought up at SLAS meetings, not all SLAS members are on this board so it's not a good forum to get a consensus. SLAS may want to look at adding a regular forum function to their website for that type of discussion. I realize with a large nummber of SLAS members on the board it's hard to avoid some discussion and that should be OK as SLAS does a lot but OAS and non-afiliated board members need to feel welcome here as well. The more the merrier. Discussion includes astronomical objects, telescope making and accessories, current astronomical events, and other various astronomical topics. All are welcome to join! +++++ So while a check of the U-A roster does seem to show a lot of SLAS folk, the list is not a SLAS list.
