How are you at physics and really big numbers? I have some college education in Astronomy and it's all physics and really big numbers... The Salt Lake Community College carries a text book called "Foundations of Astronomy" by Michael Seeds. It's pretty thorough and chock full of physics and you know, really big numbers. ;) Guy Quoting Kim Hyatt <kimharch@msn.com>:
I may have the opportunity to teach a college general-education-level astronomy course. (It's too soon to say where, or if it's certain.) Do any of you have good ideas for a text or texts for such a class?
