Thanks Richard. I use a canon rebel XSi (self modified with a baader filter). Mount is the Orion Atlas EQG with EQMOD. The I was shooting prime with an orion ED80, but wanted to get deeper, so I sold that and got the Orion 254mm F4.7 astrograph with the Baader MPCC. I use a little 60mm meade scope to guide, with a modified quickcam pro 9000 as the guide cam. I also have a home made peltier cooler box for my DSLR and a few other lens's I use. I have a slas, there is a shot of my old ED80 setup..the new setup can be seen here http://www.rankinstudio.com/astro equipment Cheers David Richard Tenney wrote:
Outstanding images David. Nice interface, I like it! Can you tell us about your setup/gear etc.? (I may have missed it earlier, there are several hundred UA posts that I haven't gone back and read).

I used a plugin you all have probably seen (Zoomify) to accomplish it.
Go here to see them
I plan to add more!
