Speaking of still fighting the Civil War-- My wife and I drove through North Carolina in the 1970s and stopped at an antique shop near Fort Fisher. There were a bunch of Union buttons for sale. I asked the shopkeeper why she didn't have any Confederate buttons. She drew herself up and huffed, "We fought 'em barefoot and naked!" -- Joe
