Well, I did sketch at the eyepiece decades ago, but today's world is very much an immediate situation. The past has no value. On Oct 30, 2012 5:06 PM, "Jay Eads" <jayleads@gmail.com> wrote:
There is Astronomy Picture of the Day and Astronomy Sketch of the Day. I'm not sure in terms of sketching if there are enough sketches in Utah, as far as I know I am the only one who sketches and publishes his work (please someone share with me locally). I publish my sketches at a blog I use at a website at http://interstellarsketching.wordpress.com/ and at my blog which is at http://jaysastronomyobservingblog.blogspot.com/ Not sure if I would seek to publish locally as I find Astronomy Sketch of the Day a good medium to publish to if I want to go outside of my normal avenues.
I do think you have enough imagers both in and out of SLAS that would publish their work on a local level. However, I know some publish their work over on CloudyNights as well to seek input there. _______________________________________________ Utah-Astronomy mailing list http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/utah-astronomy
