Yeah, the initials "B.S." could tend to raise eyebrows, although there is precedent; I believe the Russians called their 236-inch the "Big Telescope" for years. Bolshoi Teleskop, or something similar.

"Cyclops" comes to mind. "Swamp Thing" takes location into account. "Mosquito Telescope" for similar reasons.
