Mike Bailey and I got out to Rush Valley last night for a few hours. It was chilly with occasional gusts, but not a bad night at all. There was a bit of dodge'em with some clouds, but still plenty to see. Limiting magnitude was just a bit past 5.0--not fantastic, but still pretty darn good for a former New Englander. I saw and photographed a beautiful pair of sundogs just as I got around Eagle mountain. As a relatively recent arrival, I have no idea how common they are here, but it's the first time I've ever seen them. Each 'dog' was a little rainbow. Cool.
