Interesting, Patrick. The last couple of times I went through Delta I saw maybe a dozen or two of the hospital-bed-type detectors in the headquarters yard. Are they expanding their footprint, or pulling some back, or did they just not deploy some? Here's a shot of the facility: http://users.wirelessbeehive.com/~paw/temp/uobservatory.jpg Can anyone here comment on what the various structures are (especially the small white building towards the bottom of the image and the long, rectangular building on the right)? Regarding EPOD, here's a hill located SE of the observatory that I plan on going back with my good camera for a sunset shot on day soon: http://users.wirelessbeehive.com/~paw/temp/rock.jpg Judging from all the striations I'm guessing it not only looks nice but has an interesting history. Any geologists on the list that might want to collaborate on writing the text for the submission?
