Funny story on the Super Moon. I had a student who told the kids yesterday that it was only on Super Moon's that real werewolf's change. So they need to stay indoors for the full moon this month because it is only on a Super Moon that a werewofl's bite can make you become a werewolf. Most knew he was joking, two didn't and got real worried for a moment until I said "Don't worry, the Leprechauns from St. Patrick's Day will chase them off." Interesting but pointless but one of those things that sticks with you when you teach I guess. By the way, anyone have long canines today or are extra hairy? Hi Patrick,
The news (Channel 2) cited NASA as a source saying last nights Full Moon was 17% bigger than "normal" and 30% brighter. What was the official NASA release on this?
My iPhone howled when I opened my Moon Phase App last night.
