Celestron's f/6.3 focal reducer can be used visually and Denkmeier makes a great .5 focal reducer making the C-8 a very well corrected wide field f/5 scope. I have the later and it works great on my Ultima 2000. Can something like this work for a finder for a monster Dob? When He said leg and crack in the same sentence that was my first thought. He did make it seem like more of a leg issue than a fork issue to me. I also thought I saw the "Moss" but realized in a minute that it was a reflection of a tree.
