What is wrong with the Weather Service? I wanted to set up in my backyard and practice some stuff tonight, but the forecast was for partly cloudy. Now it's too late to get on it, but the last I looked the sky seemed wonderful. jb
Yet another reason to build a backyard observatory. :) FWIW, when I'm interested in near term forecasts I tend to use the Clear Sky Clock (CSS) instead of NWS. The CSS for SLC (and the one for SPOC) has been calling for tonight to be clear since early this morning.
