Joe, I came back early tonight because of the atmosphere. Very turbulent upstairs right now. I am hoping by Friday or Saturday for the weather up here to settle down. On Tue, Jun 28, 2011 at 12:41 AM, Jay Eads <jayleads@gmail.com> wrote:
Joe,
I can almost make out the pointed ends of this wonderful PN. BTW here is a link to the best seasonal PN's (some of them) http://www.blackskies.org/seasonbst3.html and you can scroll forward or backwards for the season you want. Here is the link to their main page: http://www.blackskies.org/index.html Look at the bottom and you'll find some interesting links like this one:

Four challenging observations of PN's in Globular clusters for the amateur. Has anyone imaged these? I know a couple of people who have viewed Pease 1 and GJJC 1. Just curious. These two also look like fun. http://www.blackskies.org/JaFu_challenge.htm Love PN's.

No, Patrick, I missed it. I was too busy fiddling with RoboFocus. Thanks, Joe

I still haven't been able to make my RoboFocus autofocus.
FWIW, I have not used any sort of auto focus for years. I have that feature available but have found it's much quicker to focus manually.
BTW, did you get any shots of 2011 MD?
