Hi Chuck, Sorry, was off site since Monday was my 50th. Vernon is easy to get too. Take State Highway 36 from Tooele and go to Vernon. At Vernon drive on through on 36 until you come to the right turn (your heading south) to the Vernon Reservoir. Turn right and your on a gravel road. That is Forest Road 005 or Benmore Rd. Take that until you come to a T at the end and at that point you can turn left and go up to the Vernon Reservoir, which I don't go to but a large group could claim the 4 eastern campsites and there is a nice observing field with toliets (Forest Service Toilets that are clean and real toilets but are the FS holes that are pumped out every so often so they may not smell the best but these are well ventilated). Or at the T you go right and drive down to the first left, FR006 and then the sites I and others use are up there. The ATV crowd is very small to non-existent during the week. When I go on a Friday I know i need to be at my site by 4:00pm so not to compete. Once dark falls, no ATV's and really no traffic and it is absolutely wonderful. Good SQM-L readings there in the 21.77 to 21.85 range depending on the season. Hope that helps! -- Thanks! Jay
