Some of you know that I am an Administrator on Cloudy Nights. I had just been promoted to Admin there a few months when this happened. I was there and saw everything happen in real time, and behind the scenes. This was very serious and caused Astronomics (the owner of Cloudy Nights) a serious financial loss. It is to the owner's credit that he feels sorry for the perpetrator's family. It really was a form of cyber crime and the Feds take it seriously. I'll answer most questions about it off-list if you want to email me, but what's in the press now covers it pretty well. Remember this was over 2 years ago, IIRC.
