[Utah-astronomy] Way to go SLASers!

I've long known that SLAS members are known for volunteerism but it's things like what happened last evening that really drive that point home. It was pouring rain late in the afternoon but eventually the clouds did start to part. It was still mostly overcast by 6 pm but all it took was that slight clearing to get several SLASers to make the drive to SPOC for the public star party. And it's a good thing they did as there was quite a turnout of public too. Granted, things were not as nice as we might have liked but then I always have to remind myself that we do the public star parties for the public, not so much for ourselves.
