Probably the best coverage for RTMC, or any of the large star-parties, is to be found in Amateur Astronomy magazine, a quarterly published by Tom Clark (Tectron owner). Most of the writers are not professionals, but what they lack in polish is more than made up for in enthusiasm. For those looking to get published for the first time, AA would be an excellent route. Tom publishes just about everything submitted- but you won't get paid. In addition to star-party coverage, there are loads of observing articles, travelogues, personality profiles, and the occassional technical piece. I stopped subscribing a year or two ago for financial reasons (cancelled everything except S&T), but if you are a fan of folks like Jane Houston Jones, AA will satisfy you.
