Patrick, I like the little edge-on galaxy just above and left of the companion. The image is actually full of very tiny galaxies if you look carefully. I especially see them when I stretch the data really hard, which I like doing just to see what is there. I had a good time comparing my shot to the Hubble image of M51. Of course, there is no real comparison, but it is still fun to look at details in mine and then see what it really looks like in the Hubble version. luminance data all night on M51, the Whirlpool galaxy. I managed to get 80 frames of 300 seconds each, for a total of 400 minutes. The seeing was pretty good for Utah, and I managed to get some really nice detail for such a small instrument (AP130 EDF at F/6). Take a look at this link.
