Jo et al, I did a quick count of potential shaded tent sites across the road in the trees: 20 - 25 good places for a tent in the nice cul-de-sac-o-trees across the way. If you continue either North or South there are several dozen more but further away from the site. There are some nice camping spots in the trees across the road from the observing field, where a tent could be carefully placed to get shade the next morning, if anyone wanted to camp out.
