The only explanation I can come up with this is that it's equivalent to asking who you'd most like to be stranded on a desert island with. The choice is someone who is interesting, articulate and knowledgeable. But in this case, not somebody who's a good camper! -- Joe

He won't camp. He won't even stay at a hotel at Bryce! He drives to Bryce monthly, does his presentation and imediately drives home again. Ironic that he is the one to have on a camping trip. The article in the magazine did give good information on the Salt Lake Astronomical Society and our SPOC - for those who don't have Patrick on their camping trips - which is everyone!
