I returned late last night from a last-blast-of-summer trip to Yellowstone. This morning is the first chance I've had to read email for a few days. (Weather in YNP was lovely, BTW.) My heartfelt sympathies for Andy's family. I would have enjoyed knowing him even better than I did. Andy contributed so much to SPOC - couldn't SLAS, or at the very least, this group make an appropriate contribution to a worthy cause in his name? I'd say "send flowers," but I've always thought that they are a waste of money and just go to prop up the funeral-industrial complex. Thoughts anyone?
