I saw the weather forecast on Channel 4 (I think) last night, predicting a weak front moving in Sunday AM with some clouds that should last through Monday. If true, Friday and Saturday are the best bets for two out of the three nights of this extended weekend. Anyone else have other weather information? Yesterday I drove to Utah Valley for business and noticed some leaves already changing in Spanish Fork Canyon. Not the earliest I've seen, but fall is definitely just around the corner. I also went up to Skyline Drive for a little while last night. The seeing wasn't great, but it was clear - another beautiful night. It did get cold, though. By 9:30 temps had already dropped to mid to high 40's. Anyone going to higher altitudes this weekend should expect fall temps. Or just the usual late summer Utah weather. So I will probably stay to about 2 AM and head back. I plan on Friday for sure but haven't decided about Saturday night. I am looking at forecasts and the seeing and transparency look a tad better at Lakeside but the humidity out in the desert is going through the roof this weekend after about 1:00a.m.. Humidity at Wolf Creek will go up, but not real high and probably not until right before morning. I may go up and spend the night Friday, and observe Saturday night and come home Sunday . . . maybe stay Sunday night if I can gather the food (special diet). Just wondering who might be up there both nights. Jay On Wed, Sep 1, 2010 at 12:06 PM, Richard Tenney <retenney@yahoo.com> wrote:
