Staying home tonight and I am heading to Lakeside on Saturday. Humidity is 45%-50% at 6:00a.m. Sunday a.m. and outside of a burp at 19:00 on Saturday, the sky is good and transparency is either a 4/5 or a 5/5 though seeing isn't looking so good. Take what I can get. Pit n Pole looks like too much humidity for my tastes. If you want to join me a friend from Clinton should be joining me and anyone else is welcome as always. Good to know where I am going. I may take a tent and camp there for a day or two with an ice chest. Coyotes and Antelope, and a bat that is always there when I observe. Lakeside ClearSkyClock: http://www.cleardarksky.com/c/SLAS2UTkey.html?1 Looks like Sunday is looking the same, and Monday and Tuesday are looking really good for the same location. If you don't know how to get there I have pictures with directions in my SLAS gallery located here: http://www.slas.us/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=3020 Also, I'm planning on being at the Flying J tomorrow evening around 6:30p.m. to 7:00p.m. so if anyone wants to follow, they can do that also. I drive a Black Pathfinder and I'll decide which scope to bring, but probably the 14. On Fri, Aug 6, 2010 at 3:56 PM, Robert Taylor <Rob.Taylor@digis.net> wrote:
For the record I am heading up to Wolf Creek tonight if anyone cares to join me. Tomorrow doesn't look so good, this looks like the best night of the week-end.

I would suggest you check out the Clear Sky Clock for Wolf Creek before you make a final decision.

It's looking very good. A little cool but but it gets better as the night goes on.

Looks like a washout to me for this weekend. Looking at the CSC for Lakeside tomorrow it looks clear but below average seeing with winds 17 to 28. Unless things change drastically I doing my weekend observing from my driveway. Steve
