You guys are so funny. Thanks for the responses. Sent from my iPhone On Apr 3, 2013, at 6:29 PM, Patrick Wiggins <paw@wirelessbeehive.com> wrote:
While Joe is just kidding, for the record I did tell the tree guy that the trees come first. If cutting them back would kill them I did not want the work done. Actually the thing that really got me going on this was the damage all the heavy snow did to a couple of my untrimmed trees. Broken and splintered branches all over the plane. Yuck...
Looking outside I see they are almost finished. Of course I also see clouds moving in from the west (insert loud groan here). Between my having better horizons and Chuck getting a double stack I fear the bad wx will be around for a while. :)

Thanks Kelly,
I've got a crew of guys working out back trimming trees including the one I'm having to shoot through to get the Pan-STARRS pictures I've gotten so far.
I told them to "do no harm" to the trees. Just to trim them. So provided they can get the tree trimmed enough I may be able to get better shots.

Patrick, I actually kinda liked this latest Pan-STARRS pic...
And Chuck, I agree completely about the image of the comet near Andromeda. On APOD I was surprised to learn that Pan-STARRS is currently the largest object in our solar system...pretty incredible to try and imagine! I wish someone could get a shot looking back at the solar system so the true scale of it could be appreciated.
