There are two decent-sized sunspots groups visible right now, one is close to center, the other between center and the limb. The central group is very interesting, with many smaller spots grouped in an arc aroung the large central spot. I get the feeling that more spots would be visible with increased aperture. No doubt one of these was responsible for the recent auroral alert. A little vigilance here might bear fruit. Sure is nice to see the sun in a clear, blue sky again. ____________________________________________________________________________________ We won't tell.
