Liver and Onions scheduling problem

My friends, I'm sorry to say that I may not be able to attend Liver and Onions for another four to six weeks, due to work demands. This all came up after I posted that it was time to get together again. Next Saturday is our scheduled event, but I am available until 1:30 PM only then must get back to work. If we could start at noon then I'd have an hour and a half with you. But it's up to all of you. Please don't call it off just because I can't make it, or we can try an earlier start time. I'm sorry about this, in fact I'm just sick about it. One of these years I'm really going to retire, and have my Saturdays back. Let me know what you want to do. Maybe we could make it a dinner get together instead?

Thanks for the invite. What time on Jan 26? Plan on Mike and me if no big snow storm arrives. Hope to see some Lunar Eclipse photos from those who braved the cold. Larry, thanks for the call yesterday, reminding me it's time for L&O again. Looks like there's nothing on the SLAS calendar so how about Saturday, Jan. 26th? That's 2 weeks notice for those who have requested more than one week. Let me know if that date works for everyone. If a lot can't make it, we can look at other dates. Thanks!

GREAT coverage of the lunar eclipse by the Deseret News and KSL TV: Deseret News: https://www.deseretnews.com/article/900051733/enjoy-the-blood-moon-lunar-ec… KSL had a live broadcast from the eclipse watch at the U. but I can't find it on line. Will post it if I can locate the clip. -- Joe Baman

Explore Scientific Eyepieces For Sale

I have two Explore Scientific 1.25" eyepieces for sale. Both are in new condition and come with dustcaps on both ends as well as bolt cases. These are argon-purged and fully waterproof. I have the 9mm and the 5.5mm, both are the 62-degree series. I can also come up a couple of the Explore foam-lined cardboard boxes, but the label won't match the focal lengths sold here, and will only be included if you ask for them. Asking $55 each, take both for $100. Reply off-list if interested. First-come, first served. Can deliver anywhere in the SL valley, or meet you halfway somewhere. Thanks for your time!
