Last night (Mar 20) we saw the shadows of Ganymede and Io transit Jupiter. Another moon was just on the limb and finely disappeared. Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Finance Tax Center - File online. File on time.

Jim, Glad you got home all right. Tomorrow I'm going to see if I can center my secondary under my focuser. I must have really got it out of whack. But it still was a fun night wind and all. That 20" Starmaster is a beautiful scope. Wish I could buy it. Debbie

Dave, Jim doesn't like our 90 degree weather down here. I hope it's not 120 in July. May just have to hang out at Wolf Creek Pass in July. Debbie

Kim and Joe, I'd like to know how the seeing is at the Wedge. I'm thinking of going there in May for the private star party. I was out last night observing in LaVerkin and the seeing went to mush around mid-night. The warmer temperatures take their toll on good seeing but overall it was a pleasant night. Debbie

Sedna gif animation

This is an animation (blink comparison) of Sedna produced by Ron Wodaski with a 20" RC and SBIG ST10-XME CCD over a two night period. X axis wise its in about the middle and Y axis about 2/3 of the way up. There are some other "blinkers" and I'm unsure of what they are. Due to a last-minute weekend work-schedule change, I will most probably be unable to attend the MM at SPOC tonight (Friday). My apollogies to anyone who was planning on trying-out the Orion 80mm ED scope. We'll try to get together another time. Jim, Can you find out what time Spica transits on March 19th? That would be the best time to find Omega Centauri. But we will watch it rise Friday. I hope I catch it at the right time. Debbie
