Re: [USR-TC] 3com ready to lose massive amounts of ISP's ?
For what its worth, we have almost 6000 ports of HiperDSP in our network. We have been USRobotics/3Com customers since our inception in 1995. Aside from the occasional board repair, we buy NOTHING from 3Com any more. We don't rely on their support. For the most part, we have relegated our 3Com gear to doing just regular plain vanilla dialup, and use other vendor's equipment to do anything complex. The ONLY bright point in our 3Com experience has been the service we receive from a company in Toronto, IASL (www.iasl.com). At 06:46 PM 20/11/20 01 +0900, Peter Evans wrote:

Already abandonned 3com. When you stopped dealing direct in Japan, there was no reason to continue as the support went down the toilet and got flushed.
(gol now uses cisco)
THe only reason to be on this list is that we have a reasonable pile of legacy 3com that isn't dead yet.
