By contrast, each card will pull their configuration for the flash on the NMC when the system is powered down and brought back up. All you should have to do is reboot the chassis, then save all of your modems to their local flash when they come back up. Then you can reboot individual cards or the whole chassis without killing a thing. When you reboot an individual card, the system loads the configuration from the local flash on the card. By contrast, each card will pull their configuration for the flash on the NMC when the system is powered down and brought back up.
