MAndrews perl utilities for USR-TC
Hi all, I was wondering if someone had the following Perl scripts sitting around somewhere: usrcommand.pl checkusrcfg.pl nmc-red-light.pl They seem to have disappeared from Mike Andrews' site at http://www.dcr.net/~mandrews/usrtoys/mystuff.shtml Thanks in advance, Todd
Say...speaking of which... Has anyone written a tool that takes a USR TC config and spits it out as configuration commands? That would be truly handy for reviewing configs on existing gear... Thanks! -Scott On Wed, Feb 19, 2003 at 12:59:51PM -0500, Todd Williams wrote:

You mean something that takes a text file with config commands and telnets to the TC and executes them? If so, I've modified the old pmcommand program in the past to do that but this can be done with any programming language that your familar with enough to automate a telnet session. Like Perl. Cisco's even have a Net::Telnet::Cisco Perl module designed specifically for Ciscos devices. Personally, I just copy and paste the commands from a text file. Does anyone configure their TC using a backup and restore method? How about by copying the config files off a TC to another TC? I noticed several config files available by doing a "list files" command. Howdy, I used to have all these scripts locked away in a safe place I've forgotten about, but I went on a hunch and dug them up. The Internet can be very powerful ;) I've posted them at http://www.directcon.net/leet/usr Regards, Lee Todd Williams wrote:
