Channelized T1 in a DSP
Anyone using a Channelized T1 into a DSP? We have a TC boxes with PRI's into the DSP's running no problem. But in this location we are using a T1 (no PRI tarriff) and cannot get the TC to accept a call. It rings, 3 seconds of silence and then busy. I have swapped complete chassis and all cards, and reset everything to defaults and reconfigured. I have a feeling that there is some setting in the ARC that I am missing that is different between a T1 and a PRI (like modem mapping or something??) I changed the DSP card from "Message Oriented" to "Bit Robbed." But everything else is the same as our PRI chassis. Help??? Wayne Griswold (906) 774-4847
Perhaps check to ensure the Modem Line Interface option called Line Interface Source (%Dn) is set for t1Tdm and not priTdm -Tom H.

Wayne, Are the Run/Fail and CAR LED's green? No alarm light? If so what is the Framing Mode and Line Coding Options settings in your trunk settings? Dave Lajoie RA Administrator North Country Internet Access E-Mail: dave@ncia.net On Tue, 26 Nov 2002, WayneG wrote:

You may have to fuss with the "dial in address" and/or the "trunk start signal". If you are set to wink, try immediate etc. If you are set to dnis, try no address... On Tuesday 26 November 2002 09:32 pm, you wrote:
