If you've got the original cable and null-modem adapter, connect the null-modem adapter to the cable you have, then connect any 9->25 modem cable to the null modem adapter and use that to connect to your puter. -----Original Message----- From: Jobe Bittman [mailto:jobe@tns.net] Sent: Tuesday, October 15, 2002 12:38 PM To: usr-tc@mailman.xmission.com Subject: [USR-TC] HiperNMC serial cable Does anyone know how to make a 9 pin serial cable for the HiperNMC? All I have the the 25-pin connector and I no longer have a machine with a 25pin serial interface. Hey guys, anyone have a minute to help a guy into the 20th century? We are converting our service form Channelized T1 to PRI. I know on the T1 setting on the DSP we need to: Set the type from robbed bit to message oriented. Check the difference in dtmf or mf the number of digits My question is on the dsp and the chassis. I have the cards set statically and I have set the type as HDM_24 and the port density set to 24, should I change this to 23? Terry Kennedy OlyPen, Inc.
Yes...change it to 23 ports. Also...don't forget the switch type under the dsp config. You must have the correct switch type when terminating PRI.
