Old thread, but new answer?: Make sure you enable PCM upstream on the client modem - by default it's disabled. (+PIG=0 enables PCM upstream.) What driver version is on the client modem? Use 8.24 or 8.22. www.modemsite.com/56k/v92c.asp

I'm still not getting the v.92 connection. I am using an LT winmodem. My TC has DSP 3.5.105, ARC 5.3.100 and NMC 8.6.3. I have all v.92 settings enabled under v.92 configuration in the programmed settings. Is there anywhere else I need to do something to get this to work?

Yes. I can guarantee that using the latest TCM we saw v92DigitalPCM connects. Make sure you have all the v.92 settings enabled on the DSP. They default to off.

I am still confused on this. I am not seeing anything but v.90 on the modulation. I do see the v.44 compression. Should I definitely see a v.92 modulation type when the v.92 in both the modem and the TC is working correctly?

I have to assume that because Total Scrutinizer is able to detect V.92 statistics that TCM can as well. I'm using TCM 8.2.6 After all TCS 4.5 was the code supplying the SNMP oids for such connections. I never pulled a V.92 stat, but did manage to get a few reports of V.44
Easiest way to check is: click on Modems ->Performance->Select all modems->Function Group "Call Statistics"-> Select fields of "modem modulation, initial modulation, compression" Then click ok.
You should see V90Digital(34) for V90 connects. If memory serves me right a V.92 connect looks like V92Digital(45).
