hiper arc and hiper dsp updates needed?

hello i have a couple of hiper arc cards and a whole bunch of hiper dsp cards. they have been running flawlessly so i have sort of just left them alone! i am moving my dialup pool to a new telco and a new co-lo so i thought i should look into any updates while i'm at it. my hiper arc is v 4.1.22 is this version good enough or is there a newer version that might have improved performance? i'm not sure offhand what version my hiper-dsp cards are. could someone email me privately about what the later versions are and where i might find the updates? also, i could really use 1 or 2 hiper dsp cards if anyone has a set for sale. matthew

Console Port Pinout

What's the other hardware (cards) invovled besides the netserver? Are you using quad modems, dsp's, etc? Like I said previously I've never used a netserver before...just hiper arc's so I'm taking a random stab at this.... Open Total Control Manager and follow these steps: 1. Click on the entire T-1 card 2. Click on configure 3. Click on program settings 4. Click on DSO<->Modem Configuration 5. Select a DS0 in the left column that you want to map Legend a. Green Already connected (mapped) to a modem b. Aqua Available c. White Unavailable d. Yellow Selected 6. If the modem that you are trying to map the ds0 to is White (unavailable), the modem may not be configured to have the line interface source of t-1tdm. Insure that the modems have a line interface source of t-1tdm: a. Select individual modem b. Click on configure c. Click on program settings d. Click on Line interface options e. Verify that the line interface source is set to t-1tdm. AT&T Maintenance Lockout Problem

Has anyone experienced a problem where the 4ESS switch they are connected to intermittently puts the T1 trunks in Maintenance Lockout/Disable because they are detected as High and Wet? It was explained to me that this is most commonly found when the CSU does not respond with a Wink after several attempts by the switch. It only seems to occur when we are connected to an AT&T 4ESS switch. All of the other pops connecting to a DMS10 do not seem to have these issues. If any of you have similar experiences or have any suggestions, please let me know. Hi all, Happy new year I have got a brand new netserver 16 v.34. I set it up and all setting seems be correct. but when a dial up user using ppp connection connect to it disconnect immediately .(after checking user name and password).(a slip connection doesn't have any problem) Can anyone help me and set it remotely? ip of netserver: 62.32.59.133 telnet user: !root password: sina SNMP string: public I also added a network user for testing device. user: test password: test thank you very much Shahrooz Sharghi
