I;ve had this happen a few times. Just reboot the NMC card by sliding it out if the chassis or via the console interface and it will be well again (until next time). Hi Scot, We see this a lot on Hiper DSP cards when they fail. Try the Z-Modem procedure through the console port to reload code to it and see if that works. Most of the cards we see like this have to be sent back to 3Com for repair. I know that a red RN/FL is no good, but does the 4th utilization bar being amber mean anything? Any tests or settings I should check while the card is in an operational state? Not ever having a DSL go bad on me, what is the best course of action -- attempt to have Commworks repair it, replace it with a used card, ??? Card is about 2.5 years old. Check into the Internet Equal Access (IEA) feature. Basically let's you set up per-user default routes. Anyone familiar with Balance and Un-Balanced E1/PRI

Customer is asking....(in regards to Dual E1/PRI) Can you please explain to me whether these should be balanced or unbalanced? I'm asking..Is this dictated by Telco? If so, does the card have the ability to change via software setting or board jumper? Does it even matter to the card set? T1 alarm traps problem

Hi all, I am having a problem getting my traps on a Hyper DSP card to save through a hardware reset. After setting up the traps I go to commands on the NMC and the DSP card and save to NVRAM, but the card still manages to reset itself on reboot. Any ideas? Am I saving in teh right place? HARC syslogs

Anyone out there parsing HARC syslogs for errors and problems? We are getting intermittent disconnects and reboots and need a way of determining if we can detect the problems via syslog analysis. I'm just looking for a list of errors and messages to look for.
