Call for Nominations - UMEA Board Election
An election will be held, during January, 2018, to elect UMEA Board officers who will serve as Vice Presidents-elect for one year prior to starting a two-year term as Vice President. Positions to be determined this year are as follows:

Elementary Vice President-elect
Jazz Vice President-elect
Orchestra Vice President-elect

Nominations will be vetted by the current UMEA Board in mid October, and two candidates will be chosen and asked to allow their names to appear on the ballot. Voting will take place electronically with an invitation for members to vote on a digital ballot. UMEA members who have no email address listed on their member registration forms will be contacted by mail.

Winning candidates will be announced during the All-State Jazz Band concert on Feb. 3, 2018.
