Utah Music Educators Association is proud to be a hosting partner for Arts Day on the Hill, when hundreds of Utahns come to the legislature to talk about the importance of the arts & humanities!

Details:

We are excited to merge our Music Day on the Hill with Arts Day on the Hill to make this day bigger and more impactful than ever. Our co-hosts for Arts Day on the Hill are Utah Cultural Alliance, Art Works for Kids, Utah Division of Arts and Museums! With our partners, we've worked to make Arts Day better and more effective than ever before. Keep your eyes out for some new surprises! The registration link includes a schedule for the day.

Arts Day on the Hill is an important opportunity for us to talk with legislators about music education. Come help us advocate for more money for the arts and arts education, including for music programs!

We'll also lobby on behalf of bills that positively impact our sector. Lobbying is easy and we'll teach you how to do it as part of the day's schedule. We will set up appointments for you with your legislators and there are performances throughout the day in the rotunda.
