We have two big drug conspiracy cases coming the first week of May, with about 40 defendants total. They all have to be arraigned within 48 hours of arrest. There's no way that the court can schedule hearings with the jail for that many people in two days over Zoom. The I/A's will be held in person. If you are uncomfortable with an in-person hearing, please let me know. Please don't feel like you have to sign up for one of these cases if you are uncomfortable with coming into the courthouse.

The Federal Defender's Office has an opening for an attorney in St. George. They are looking for someone with trial experience. They are open to training someone who lacks federal experience. If you or someone you know is interested, the announcement is posted on the homepage of the CJA website.
