Dear Friends and Colleagues in Tang Studies, I am writing to you to report the very sad news that our esteemed colleague and friend Harry Rothschild passed away this past Friday, December 10, 2021. The field of Tang Studies has lost an important scholar too soon. More importantly, many have lost a close friend. I know that I speak for all of us in expressing the certainty that we will keep his family and loved ones in our thoughts during their time of grief.
