[ https://ellingoeide.org/study-abroad-scholarship/ | Undergraduate scholarships ] : This scholarship provides $1,000 for undergraduates who are going abroad to study Chinese language. The scholarship may be used for both semester- and year-long programs as well as short-term summer programs. 2. [ https://ellingoeide.org/study-abroad-scholarship/ | Dissertation research fellowships ] :This scholarship provides $1,500 for graduate students who are going abroad to do dissertation research. 3. [ https://ellingoeide.org/visiting-scholars-researchers-program/ | Visiting scholars program ] : The Eide Center welcomes visiting scholars to come use the library for research projects of all disciplines. We offer modest financial support for visitors along with free housing at our guest house. Short- and long-term stays are possible. 4. [ https://ellingoeide.org/text-workshop/ | Song Dynasty Texts Workshop ] : This two-day workshop (June 9-10, 2023), led by Professors Mark Halperin and Ellen Zhang, will introduce graduate students and early career scholars to texts from the Song era that are less commonly studied by historians. The seminar is designed to increase the participants' skills in reading and working with these sources. Applicants do not necessarily need to be Song-period scholars to attend.
